About Tamale Flour ~

Generally speaking, the corn flour used in making corn tortillas is ground
a little finer than the flour used for tamales.  There are several flours
available in US supermarkets.  If you are choosing one flour over another,
choose the flour made for your recipe....tamale flour for tamales etc.

Masa Harina = dough flour as in all purpose flour (wheat)
Harina de Maiz = corn flour
Masa Seca = masa - dough seca - dry
MaSeCa = a name brand

The packages below are used for tamales, tortillas, etc...or more
simply....general purpose corn flour.
