Yerba Buena ~ Peppermint Tea ~ pronounced (  yehr-va  when-ah )

Growing up in California we had this tea for as long as I can remember.  Great
on those cold days (and nights).  I don't know of any real medicinal properties,
but when I was young, Mom would always prepare this tea for an upset stomach
(worked for me).  In Stockton, California the peppermint grew wild, normally
around the water faucet.

2-5 fresh peppermint leaves per cup of water (the more leaves, the stronger it
will be)

Put the mint leaves into a large teapot.  Pour on boiling water; allow to steep 5
minutes.  Remove mint leaves steep for an additional 3 minutes.

I enjoy it with a teaspoon of sugar.  This tea will definitely warm you up, and
keep you warm. Enjoy!
