Porterhouse Steak ~ Porterhouse contains, top sirloin, tenderloin and some
backbone.  Similiar to a T-Bone but with a larger portion of the tenderloin.  This
recipe contains Scotch Whiskey.

Group 1
2 oz Scotch whiskey
½ tsp fresh dill, chopped
½ tsp fresh shallots or green onions, chopped
1/8 tsp salt
1/16 tsp pepper

2 (16 oz) Porterhouse steaks

1.  Blend group 1 together, pour over steaks and marinade in refrigerator for 1
hour.

2.  *Broil or grill to desired doneness.

3.  Serve with oven-roasted potatoes seasoned with chopped dill, salt and
pepper.

* To broil, place meat 1-inch thick on rack, 2-3 inches from heat; cook 5-7
minutes on side until meat is brown.  Turn and cook on second side.  Season

* To grill, place unseasoned meat directly 4-6 inches over hot coals and cook
7-9 minutes on each side until desired doneness is achieved.
