Deep Fried Squid ~ This recipe above can be made in Squid Rings, remove
tentacles, cut squid into small rings prior to coating with flour.  Tentacles can be
fried at the same time and served separately.  

12 squid, cleaned, leave tentacles on
flour, seasoned generously with salt and pepper
oil for deep frying
3 lemons cut into wedges

1.  Clean and rinse squid in cold water; pat dry.  Dip the squid into flour to coat
surfaces evenly.

2.  Heat the oil to 375 F.  Carefully add squid (a few at a time) to deep fryer.  Fry
until golden brown.  Serve with lemon wedges.

Note: You may want to transfer squid to a baking dish lined with paper towels.  
Place in 200 degree oven to keep warm as you fry the remaining squid.
