Martabak ~ Street vendors in Indonesia sell this like we sell hot dogs.  In Thai it
is known as "roti".  An Indonesian favorite.  Somewhat of an eggroll or omelette.

1 lb ground beef
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
6 eggs
½ cup green onion, chopped
5 egg roll wrappers
1 cup oil
accompany with Cucumber salad

1   In a pan, brown the ground beef without oil for about 4 minutes or until no
longer
pink.  Add oregano and salt; stir-fry for an additional minute.  Remove from heat.

2.  In a bowl, beat the eggs well, add to beef mixture, then add chopped onions.

3.  Heat a pan over medium-low heat, add 2 tablespoons oil.  Place 1 eggroll
wrapper in the pan.  Pour in egg/beef mixture in the center and fold the edges
over so they overlap.  Cook for 2 minutes or until light brown; turn over and fry an
additional 3 minutes.

4.  Repeat until beef/egg mixture is used.

5.  Place on cutting board and cut into 2-inch lengths.  Arrange on serving plate.

6.  Serve with Ajad
