Apple Fritters

1½ cups flour
salt
3 eggs
1 cup beer (alcohol will evaporate while deep frying)
3-4 apples, peeled, cored and cut into slices, 1/2 inch thick
oil for deep frying
½ cup sugar mixed with cinnamon

1.  Place the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the eggs and slowly stir in the
beer to make a thick batter.

2.  Heat the oil in a large pan.

3.  Dip the apple slices in the batter and deep fry them until golden brown.

Serve them warm, sprinkled with the cinnamon sugar.
