Caramelized Chicken Wings ~ An economical dish full of flavor,
chicken wings are oven baked in garlic, vinegar and honey sauce
until lightly caramelized.

18 chicken wings
3 tbsp honey
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 sprig thyme
2 bay leaves
5 slices ginger, peeled, minced
1 clove garlic, peeled, minced
water

1.  Peel the ginger and chop finely (mince).

2.  Trim the wing-tips off the chicken wings.

3.  In a bowl, mix together the honey, 4 tablespoons soy sauce, the garlic, ginger,
1 tablespoon water.

4.  In a saucepan of water, bring to a boil the chicken wings with the thyme and
bay leaves.  Remove and drain the chicken wings.

5.  Arrange the wings in an ovenproof dish, and pour over the honey-soy sauce
mixture.  Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.

6.  Turn the chicken wings frequently as they cook, to ensure, even caramelizing.
