
| Almond Chicken II ~ 2/3 lb chicken breast Group 1 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch 1/2 tbsp sherry 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt dash of pepper 1 egg white 1 1/2 cup sliced almonds oil for frying 1. Remove skin from breasts. Cut the breast into very thin slices. Add group 1, mix and allow to marinate for 30 minutes. 2. Place the almonds in a dish, then coat the chicken slices with the almonds. 3. Heat the oil over medium heat (350 degrees F); deep fry the chicken for 1-1/2 minutes. When it's cooked, the thin slices of chicken will rise to the surface. Remove and serve. |
