Banana Fool

¾ cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 bananas)
2 tbsp firmly packed dark brown sugar
2 tsp fresh lemon juice, or to taste
¾ cup chilled heavy cream

In a bowl mash together the banana, the sugar, and the lemon juice.  In a
chilled bowl beat the cream until it holds stiff peaks and fold it into the banana
mixture gently but thoroughly.  Divide the fool among stemmed dessert glasses
and serve it immediately or chill it, covered, overnight.
